By booking a class with Puppies Social Club, you agree to the following terms:
Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be paid in full to reserve your spot. Your reservation is confirmed once payment is successfully completed.
Cancellations & Refunds
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If a class must be cancelled by Puppies Social Club, customers will be offered a rescheduled class or refund.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled class. Late arrivals may not be permitted once the session has started and are not guaranteed a refund or rescheduling.
Puppy Interaction & Assumption of Risk
Our classes involve interaction with live puppies. Participants understand that animals may behave unpredictably, including jumping, scratching, licking, or accidental biting. By participating, you voluntarily accept the normal risks associated with interacting with animals.
Allergies & Health
Participants are responsible for considering any allergies, medical conditions, injuries, or other limitations before attending. Please consult an appropriate healthcare professional if you are unsure whether you can safely participate.
Puppy Welfare
The health and comfort of our puppies come first. Participants must follow all instructions from Puppies Social Club staff regarding handling and interacting with the puppies.
Class Changes
Puppies Social Club may make reasonable changes to class times, instructors, locations, or participating puppies when necessary.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the class.
Agreement
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
PUPPY SOCIAL CLUB
PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & ANIMAL LIABILITY AGREEMENT
HEALTH REPRESENTATION, ASSUMPTION OF RISK— PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The Member represents and warrants that, to the best of the Member’s knowledge, the Member is in good physical condition and is physically and medically capable of participating in yoga classes, exercises, stretching, meditation, fitness activities, and all other activities offered by the Studio. The Member represents that the Member has obtained any medical examination, consultation, or clearance that the Member deems necessary or appropriate to participate safely in such activities and has disclosed to the Studio any known medical condition, physical limitation, injury, or other health concern that could affect the Member’s ability to participate. The Member acknowledges that yoga and related physical activities involve inherent risks, including, but not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, falls, dizziness, fainting, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, physical injury, and other illness or health-related complications, and that the Member has sufficient knowledge and experience with yoga and understands the nature and risks associated with participation. The Member voluntarily elects to participate in all Studio activities and assumes all risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising from or related to such participation. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Member agrees to release, waive, discharge, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Studio, its owner(s), members, managers, instructors, employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to the Member’s participation in Studio activities, including any personal injury, illness, medical condition, or health-related issue sustained by the Member, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence, reckless conduct, or willful misconduct of the Studio or any party protected by this provision, or to the extent such limitation is prohibited by applicable law. The Member acknowledges that participation is voluntary and that the Member is solely responsible for determining whether the Member is physically and medically fit to participate in any particular activity and agrees to immediately discontinue participation and seek appropriate medical attention if the Member experiences pain, discomfort, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom.
I understand that yoga, Pilates, stretching, exercise, movement, and related physical activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Muscle strains, sprains, soreness, bruising, or other soft-tissue injuries;
• Falls, slips, trips, or loss of balance;
• Joint, ligament, tendon, bone, or spinal injuries;
• Head injuries;
• Aggravation of a pre-existing condition;
• Fainting, dizziness, dehydration, or other physical reactions;
• Contact with floors, mats, furniture, equipment, walls, or other participants;
• Injuries resulting from performing exercises beyond my physical ability; and
• Other risks inherent in physical exercise and recreational activities.
I represent that I am physically capable of participating in the Activity and will notify the instructor or staff if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptom.
I agree to perform exercises only to the extent that I believe is appropriate for my own physical condition.
PARTICIPATION
I am voluntarily participating in a Puppy Social Club yoga, Pilates, fitness, animal-interaction, or related event or class (collectively, the “Activity”).
I understand that the Activity combines physical exercise with interaction with puppies and/or dogs and may involve physical contact with animals, other participants, instructors, staff, volunteers, vendors, and/or venue personnel.
I understand that participation is voluntary and that I may decline to participate in any exercise, puppy interaction, or activity at any time.
ANIMAL-RELATED RISKS
I understand that animals are unpredictable and that interaction with puppies and dogs involves inherent risks, even when reasonable precautions are taken.
I expressly acknowledge the possibility of:
• Bites;
• Nips;
• Scratches;
• Jumping or knocking a person over;
• Tripping over or being stepped on by an animal;
• Animal-related falls;
• Clothing, jewelry, personal-property, or other property damage;
• Allergic reactions;
• Asthma or respiratory reactions;
• Exposure to animal saliva, dander, fur, urine, feces, or other bodily fluids;
• Germs, bacteria, parasites, or other infectious agents;
• Emotional distress or fear caused by animal behavior; and
• Other injuries or damages arising from contact with or proximity to animals.
I understand that even a puppy that appears friendly, healthy, calm, and well-behaved may unexpectedly bite, scratch, jump, run, or otherwise behave unpredictably.
I agree not to intentionally provoke, frighten, restrain, chase, feed, pick up, or otherwise interfere with an animal unless expressly instructed or authorized by Puppy Social Club staff or the animal’s designated handler.
ANIMAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
I understand that Puppy Social Club may establish rules regarding animal interaction, including limits on how, when, and where participants may interact with puppies.
I agree to follow all instructions from Puppy Social Club staff, instructors, animal handlers, and venue personnel.
Puppy Social Club reserves the right to immediately remove a participant from animal interaction or from the Activity if, in its reasonable judgment, the participant’s conduct creates a safety concern for the participant, another person, an animal, or the venue.
ALLERGIES AND MEDICAL CONDITIONS
I understand that puppies and dogs may cause allergic or respiratory reactions.
I am responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for me based on my own allergies, asthma, medical conditions, physical limitations, or other circumstances.
I understand that Puppy Social Club cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
If I have a known allergy to dogs, animals, dander, fur, saliva, or other animal-related allergens, I understand that participation may carry an increased risk.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
I understand that Puppy Social Club is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, staining, tearing, chewing, scratching, or destruction of personal property.
I understand that animals may come into contact with clothing, handbags, shoes, phones, jewelry, yoga mats, and other personal belongings.
I am responsible for securing my personal property before and during the Activity.
RELEASE AND WAIVER
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and discharge Puppy Social Club and its owners, operators, organizers, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, event partners, animal handlers, participating animal organizations, and venue owners/operators (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims arising from my voluntary participation in the Activity, including claims relating to the inherent risks of physical exercise and interaction with animals.
This release is intended to apply to claims arising from the ordinary negligence of a Released Party only to the extent such release is permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or release claims that cannot legally be waived or released, including claims arising from gross negligence, reckless conduct, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits a party from releasing.
ANIMAL-RELATED CLAIMS
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I acknowledge and assume the inherent risks associated with interacting with animals and agree that I will not hold the Released Parties responsible for injuries or damages arising from an animal’s ordinary and reasonably foreseeable behavior or from risks inherent in animal interaction, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in this provision eliminates any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from third-party claims, damages, losses, costs, and reasonable expenses arising out of:
1. My intentional or negligent conduct;
2. My violation of the rules or instructions provided by Puppy Social Club;
3. My unauthorized interaction with an animal; or
4. Damage to property or injury to another person caused by my conduct.
This indemnification provision does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by applicable law.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY
If I experience an injury or medical emergency during the Activity, I authorize Puppy Social Club personnel, to the extentreasonably necessary, to contact emergency medical services on my behalf.
I understand that I am responsible for my own medical expenses, insurance coverage, and treatment costs, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
RULES AND REMOVAL FROM CLASS
I agree to follow all safety rules and instructions. Puppy Social Club may refuse participation or remove a participant from the Activity if the participant:
• Acts aggressively toward an animal or another participant;
• Intentionally provokes an animal;
• Fails to follow safety instructions;
• Appears intoxicated or impaired;
• Creates an unsafe environment;
• Behaves inappropriately toward an animal, child, instructor, employee, or another participant; or
• Violates applicable venue or Puppy Social Club rules.
No refund is guaranteed for removal based upon a participant’s violation of safety rules or this Agreement.
CHILDREN AND MINORS
Participants must be at least 10 years old.
Participants between the ages of 10 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the entire Activity.
The parent or legal guardian must:
1. Purchase a separate ticket for the child;
2. Attend the Activity with the child;
3. Remain responsible for supervising the child;
4. Review the Activity rules with the child before participation;
5. Ensure that the child follows all instructions regarding animal interaction and physical activity; and
6. Sign all required registration, acknowledgment, and consent documents.
A child may not attend or participate without the required accompanying parent or legal guardian.
The parent/guardian acknowledges that children may have different levels of physical ability, judgment, and experience around animals and agrees to actively supervise the child.
Nothing in this Agreement is intended to waive or release any right or claim of a minor that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
PARENT/GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT
For a participant under 18:
I certify that I am the participant’s parent or legal guardian and have authority to provide the required consent.
I have reviewed this Agreement with the minor participant and believe that the minor is capable of understanding the applicable safety rules.
I agree to be responsible for my own conduct and for supervising the minor participant as required by Puppy Social Club.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO — OPTIONAL
I understand that photographs and/or video may be taken during Puppy Social Club events. I consent to Puppy Social Club photographing and/or recording me and using my image, likeness, or voice for legitimate business, promotional, advertising, social-media, website, and marketing purposes.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING
I acknowledge that I have had an opportunity to read this Agreement before participating.
I understand that I am giving up certain legal rights to the extent permitted by law.
I understand that participation is voluntary.
I understand that the risks described above are not necessarily exhaustive and that other risks may exist.
I agree to comply with all Puppy Social Club rules and safety instructions.
I understand that this Agreement is intended to be interpreted to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and that if any provision is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
